Challenge
A language school wanted to improve its students' engagement and performance by providing them with personalized learning materials. The traditional model for distributing materials was one-size-fits-all and did not take into account students' individual interests and performance, leading to a decrease in motivation and learning efficiency.
Action
- Collecting student data.
iPresso enabled the collection of data about students, such as their test scores, language preferences, proficiency levels, areas for improvement, and subject interests. - Segmentation of the contact base.
Based on the data collected, students were divided into different segments:- Level of proficiency (beginner, intermediate, advanced)
- Subject preferences (e.g., business English, conversational English, exam preparation)
- Areas needing improvement (e.g., grammar, vocabulary, speaking, writing)
- Test scores (students with high, average and low scores)
- Personalized learning paths.
Using iPresso, the school created personalized learning paths for each student segment:- Educational e-mails: Regular emails containing personalized learning materials, such as articles, exercises, quizzes, videos and podcasts, tailored to students' levels and interests.
- Progress reports: Automatic sending of progress reports that included information on test scores, achievements and recommendations for further learning.
- Recommendations of supplementary materials: Based on test scores and progress, students received recommendations for additional learning materials and resources to help improve specific areas.
- Automatic communication.
Students received automatic reminders about upcoming tests, homework assignments and important deadlines. These notifications were tailored to their individual study schedules.
